There are apps out there that are tools to help you
hack. This is sometimes in a real sense and sometimes a side effect. For
example, a fire axe is used to break through doors, but can also be
used to break open skulls. That is why you may find some of these apps
on app marketplaces--because they have a legitimate use too. The writer
of this article and the webmaster of this site are not responsible for
what you do with this information, nor can we guarantee the safety or
success of these apps. You use, download and/or install them at your own
risk.
1. WiFi Analyzer
As
this name suggests, you are able to test WiFi networks with this tool.
It may also be used by people who are not hackers or even educated in
any form of hacking or programming. It will scan connections to see
which is the least congested so that you may switch to that.
2. Penetrate Pro
You
will need your phone rooted to use this. It allows you to scan Wi-Fi
networks that have a key protection. It gives you the access key by
continually trying different passwords. This means there are some that
you will have trouble penetrating.
3. FaceNiflat
You
will need to have your Android rooted to use this app. You can
intercept web sessions using WiFi. This means you may hijack a session
at will. There are a lot of restrictions to how far you are going to get
depending of the security of the network. Some have used it to fake
friends on Facebook (if you can believe such a thing).
4. dSploit
This
is a tool you may use to find the weaknesses in the security of a
network or mobile device. You can fingerprint host operating systems and
crack their logon procedures. You can look for vulnerabilities and
sniff out passwords.
5. SpoofApp
You
can fake a caller ID with this app. You are able to put in a number and
that is the one that shows up on the device of the other person. Do
note that this app is in conflict with the “The Truth in Caller ID Act
of 2009”, so use at your own risk.
6. Anti-Android Network Toolkit
You
need to root your phone to use this app. I will scan a network in order
to find an entry point. You can use it the other way and use it to scan
for weaknesses in your own network.
7. SSHDroid- Android Secure Shell
This
will give you an extra layer of security whilst you are connected to a
remote machine. It is a protocol offering you as the hacker some more
security. You can connect your phone to your PC with this app if you
wish.
8. Network Discovery
This
is a tool that will help you find any public devices that are on a
local and public WiFi. You can scan until you hear the ping noises
telling you what it around. You may then be able to target the device.
9. The Android Network Toolkit
This
is a toolkit full of tools to help you find weaknesses in a network.
Once you have found the weaknesses you may start chiseling away at them
with the rest of the tools. It works to help take a lot of the work out
of looking for weaknesses. Once you have found the weaknesses then there
are tools in the app that you can use for your own ends in hacking
whatever network you have your eyes set on.
10. ConnectBot
This
app acts as a terminal emulator for a Linux sub system and is a
SSH/Telnet client. There are many that say this is the very best SSH
client available for the Android operating system. It is a handy tool to
have around if you are a hacker.
11. Nmap For Android
You
can scan a network with this and it will pull out information that you
can use. It will tell you things such the IP address and there are lots
of different versions of this app so you will find the one that suits
you the best.
12. Andosid
You
can use this app to perform DOS attacks from your Android mobile phone.
How much success you have is therefore completely up to you. It is a
something that may interest you if you are a hacker and would like to
start attacking other mobile phones for whatever personal gain you feel
is there.
